Recent reports from a prominent cricket website indicated that most of the logistical arrangements have been finalized. The complete tournament schedule is expected to be announced within the next day or two. During the most recent ACC meeting, India’s Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) reportedly requested additional time to finalize specific match details.

Originally, India was designated as the host for the 2025 edition of the Asia Cup. However, diplomatic tensions surrounding the ICC Champions Trophy—specifically India’s reluctance to play in Pakistan—led to Pakistan’s refusal to travel to India for the Asia Cup. As a result, the tournament was relocated to a neutral venue in the UAE.

The initial window for the competition had been proposed for September 10 to 28, and today’s confirmation closely mirrors that timeframe. All eight teams are expected to participate in both the group stages and the knockout rounds. Potential host cities include Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.

Further information—including the full match schedule, venue details, and ticket sales—will be announced by the ACC in the coming days.
